 Payment agreement A 50% non-refundable deposit is payable 48 hours prior to commencement of a shoot. Balance of payment is mandatory, in full, and within (7) seven calendar days of presentation of final invoice. VAT at 14% is excluded from this quotation. A negotiated interim payment may be requested where a shoot escalates, either by crew number or duration. Our cancellation policy varies and depends on individual circumstances. As per C.P.A. code of conduct, late cancellations could result in the accruement of catering personnel wages, which will be billed to the production house.
Vehicles ANTS tag-a-long caterers bakkie and trailer, quoted per day at R560.00 (incl. insurance). ANTS tag-a-long caterers Kraft vehicle, quoted per day at R400.00 (incl. insurance). Individual shoot requirements may require larger or additional vehicles. Fuel will be included with final bill. Any damage caused by a crew member's negligence or misconduct will make production liable. It follows therefore, that the damage/insurance excess will be settled in full, by the production house.
Kraft overtime
A rate per crew member, per hour or part thereof, will be levied, covering staff and Kraft provided, should any shoot day exceed a 12-hour shift.
Hiring Shade - upon daily confirmation, all Gazebo’s shades including side panels (whether used or not) will be charged for in full at the daily rate of R130.00 each. Any damage to these gazebo’s shades, due to unforeseen factors (e.g. location logistics, weather, personal crew negligence etc.) will render the production house liable for replacement or repair.
ANTS tag-a-long caterers mineral water Billed at R57.50 per case (24 x 330ml) and R62.00 per case (24 x 500ml). Mineral water provided by production can be served, but at an additional R10.00 levy per case. This handling fee includes the supply and replacement of ice and cooler boxes.
Public holidays As per current labour policy, catering staff are to be remunerated twice their daily rate on all public holidays. These expenses will be for payment by production, included with your final bill. This will amount to 30% of the food bill only, on any such day.
Mini crews An escalating surcharge will be levied on crews of less than 20 persons.
Dietary specification Individual dietary requirements within reason will be attended to on request (e.g. halaal, vegan, kids' menus). In striving to maintain the personalized service for which ANTS tag-a-long caterers is known, we encourage you to communicate your and your client's food preferences - hopefully, we're able to oblige!
Medical queries ANTS tag-a-long caterers will always endeavor to provide food of the highest standards. However, in the event of illness on set we would require a medical report/test in order to verify the cause, so we are able to approach accordingly.
