Our Aim
USI International aims to give clients alternative, unique and exciting ways of escaping urban life and getting out into nature, with the least amount of effort, planning and preparation, and where they receive an unexpected level of comfort and hospitality, anywhere under the African Sky.

How this helps you
Think of us as your library! Instead of you having to phone different venues and suppliers to find out what they can offer you, we will send you a number of options to choose from, freeing you from the time-consuming task of phoning around and having to answer the same old questions.

What you need to do
Simply download our team-building enquiry form, complete it and fax back to us at the number indicated on the form. This will save time all-around and allow us to get straight onto finding the best options for you, without having to send emails back and forth to establish your exact needs.

The Model
All our models have been adapted from educational and cognitive psychological models. Our programmes are structured in such a way that all clients will have fun and take something useful back home with them.

Ice-Breakers
In a typical programme, activities are sequenced so that the participants move from simple to increasingly complex tasks. This allows each person to achieve the greatest benefit from an otherwise fun-filled day. We begin with a series of ice-breakers, where participants laugh a bit, lose their inhibitions, and become mentally prepared to move into more difficult endeavours.

Initiative
In this phase the teams are presented with situations where success is not possible on an individual level. This promotes listening skills, an appreciation of the interdisciplinary nature of problem solving, and a whole spectrum of team values and issues.

Trust
The teams are now ready to tackle greater heights and this advanced portion of the program utilizes what are typically called 'trust exercises'. It is here that groups are truly required to employ effective communication, creativity, synergy, and a willingness to take risks in order to complete each activity successfully.

Debriefing
Debriefing refers to that portion of the day where groups are facilitated in talking about 'what it all means' and how to apply it to their workplace (or other relevant environment).
