OUR PRIORITIES:
- All activities have adult supervision or trained facilitators.
- All activities are low-risk and are done with health and safety as priority.
- All activities are aimed at recreation, education and development, with
fun as the main theme.
- All activities are aimed at exposing our youth to information that will
empower them to make informed decisions.
- Each and every person that we have the privilege of working with must
leave from us feeling different about him or her.
High and Low ropes course's is an experiential adventure program, which
offers groups and individuals the opportunity to participate in a series of activities
involving mental, physical, and emotional risk taking. Safety and cooperation, as
well as individual achievement, are essential to the program. Trained instructors
who guide groups through the course emphasize these experiences and qualities. Though
sequencing experiences are planned and executed, afterwards facilitated on common
reactions, insights ad emotions such as joy, fear, fatigue, compassion, laughter
and love.
 
Team building programs offer individuals and groups and opportunity to
increase their communication skills, while becoming effective at group problem solving.
Real-life situations are simulated within a safe environment. Ropes course settings
provide exploration at solutions in a playful non-threatening manner.
Properly facilitated activities leave lasting impressions and change
the lives of the participants.

All equipment is of the highest quality to ensure the safety of each
individual and a qualified safety officer oversees all rope events.
Safety is of the utmost importance at the USI Adventure Centre.
 
Experiential learning, following a sequence of activities focusing on
trust, support, communication and essential corporate needs. All activities are facilitated
professionally.
 
There are a number of beautiful and scenic walks through the pass
and the farm, which cater for all levels of fitness. Meander along while wondering
how our ancestors endured the mountain crossing with all their worldly possessions
in wagons.

We offer tented accommodation in two man tents ,dorm tents as well as 5 star cottage tents . All tents
are fully equipped to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
